The Russian Federation says it has developed the Kalinka monitoring system to detect enemy drones connected to various types of satellite systems, especially Starlink. This is stated in a report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

The report quoted the head of the Russian Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies, Andrei Bezrukov, as saying on December 14 that the agency had developed a Kalinka monitoring system to detect drones connected to satellite systems, including Starlink.

According to Bezrukov, Russian troops are now testing this system in Ukraine. The new product is capable of detecting Ukrainian air and sea drones at a distance of up to 15 km.

Earlier, the media reported that the Main Intelligence Directorate liquidated the leading Russian designer involved in the modernization of cruise missiles and the development of new drones.
