Near Peschany, the Ukrainian defenders engaged in heavy counter-fighting against the invaders who were trying to capture the village.
A large counter-battle took place near the village of Peschanoye in the Donetsk region, as a result of which the defenders of Ukraine managed to force the enemy to flee. The DeepState project announced this on the evening of Saturday, December 14.
It was noted that the occupation forces began deploying attack groups to capture the village.
“It just so happens that at the same time the stabilization actions of our troops in the direction of the village of Shevchenko were planned,” the message said.
It was noted that the forces of both sides were approximately equal.
“An imminent battle ensued with the use of grenades, hand grenade launchers and small arms fighting, the enemy rolled back to the landings near Shevchenko,” DeepState added.
It was previously reported that near Pokrovsk, fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed Russian forces that were five times larger in number.
