A Russian cruise missile was destroyed from a man-portable anti-aircraft missile system.
In one of the western regions, a mobile fire group was able to shoot down an enemy air target with an Igla MANPADS. The commander of the machine gun section of the security platoon of the Galicia-Volyn radio engineering brigade, junior sergeant Vladimir Pshenichnyak, worked professionally. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
The military stressed that the downed missile did not cause damage to critical infrastructure. A search team has already found the crash site and the remains of the rocket.
