From 14.00 on December 12 to 10.00 on December 13, the Russians carried out a combined air attack on Ukraine with various types of missiles and attack drones.
In total, the radio engineering troops of the Air Force during this period identified 287 enemy air attack weapons – 94 missiles and 193 UAVs, namely:
- four Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K fighters, launch area – Tambov region;
- two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, launch area – Bryansk region, TOT Crimea;
- ballistic missile KN-23, launch area – Bryansk region;
- 55 Kh-101, Kh-55SM cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, launch area – Volgograd region;
- 24 Kalibr cruise missiles, launch area in the Black Sea;
- seven Iskander-K cruise missiles, launch area – Voronezh, Rostov region;
- guided aircraft missile X-59/X-69, launch area airspace above the TOT Lugansk region;
- 193 attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type and unidentified type drones from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo – Russian Federation.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the F-16 tap holes worked effectively, the PS reports.
As of 11.30 the beating was confirmed:
- 80 cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-55SM/”Caliber” https://racurs.ua/”Iskander-K”;
- ballistic missile “Iskander-M”;
- 80 attack UAVs of the Shahed type and unidentified drones. In addition, 105 enemy drones, due to active opposition from the Defense Forces, did not reach their targets (lost in location), five returned to Russia, and another to Belarus.
Once again, the enemy’s missile and drone strike was mainly aimed at Ukrainian energy facilities.
