On December 12, this organization supported Ukraine’s resolution on the security of energy infrastructure. The text was written in such a way as to avoid direct mention of the Russian Federation and to gain wider support, in particular from China. However, China still voted against it together with Russia.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported that they called on IAEA member countries to increase pressure on Russia to stop attacks on electrical substations that ensure the operation of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
