We talked about the importance of uniting the efforts of all people of good will to achieve a just world for Ukraine and Europe. He thanked the Holy Father for humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians who suffered from Russian aggression. We especially appreciate the Pope’s constant call to all believers to pray for peace for Ukraine,” Epiphany wrote on his Facebook page.
He previously reported a visit to Italy and the Vatican. In Bar on December 16, Epiphany in the local Basilica of St. Nicholas, in the co-service of the hierarchs and clergy of the WTO, he will lead the divine liturgy and near the relics of the saint he will offer prayers for the victory of truth and peace in Ukraine.
Also on December 14, in the Church of St. Theodore in Rome, which belongs to the Italian Metropolis of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, with the agreement and assistance of His Eminence Metropolitan Polycarp of Italy, a prayer service for Ukraine will be held.
