Most schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine have closed their canteens due to the lack of staff who could cook for children.
This was reported on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
This applies to urban educational institutions. As for schools in rural areas, food units have not worked here since the arrival of the “Russian world,” the report says.
It is noted that the occupiers are trying to solve this problem at the expense of the students – they have added hours of so-called practical classes and young people have to undergo “practice” in schools.
It is worth adding that, according to the press service of the Lugansk Regional Administration, the Russian invaders postponed the payment of debt to teachers and employees of a number of other budget organizations, who during 2014-2015 in the so-called “LPR” actually “worked for the benefit of the “young republic” for free basis.”
It is noted that the start of debt repayment was announced back in August 2023 and a corresponding legal act was developed.
However, already in December 2024, the previous announcement was considered erroneous. They say that some legal circumstances are preventing the payment of funds. We waited all our lives for Russia, but only for 10 years. They’ll wait a little longer,” the OVA noted.
