Russia turned to Turkey with a request for assistance in withdrawing its military contingent from Syria.
The aggressor country will leave its troops only at the naval base in Tartus and the Khmeimi airbase. However, the Kremlin wants to remove the remaining forces and has already asked Ankara for help. This was reported by CNN Turk, citing sources.
It is assumed that these troops will probably first be moved to territories under the control of the Turkish military. And only then the Russians will be taken to the Russian Federation by air.
Moscow turned to Turkey to ensure the safe withdrawal of its units.
Let us remind you that Russian propaganda stated the day before that Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad arrived with his family in Moscow.
