The United States of America announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.
The amount of new assistance will be $988 million. The new package will include HIMARS ammunition, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), equipment, components and spare parts for the maintenance and repair of military equipment. The Pentagon press service reported this.

It is reported that the money is being allocated as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). This is already the 22nd USAI package from the Joe Biden administration since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
