In Ukraine, payment of compensation for “Baby Packing” will become permanent.
This is stated in the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
This mechanism will replace the pilot project that operated in 2020-2024. The corresponding decision was made in order to improve the program to support families with newborns.
Parents who have a newborn will be given the opportunity to receive cash compensation in lieu of receiving the Baby Pack. The money will be transferred to a special bank account opened with PrivatBank or other banks that join the program.
The list of authorized banks will be published on the official website of the State Service for Children.
Such an account will have a special mode of use, which will allow you to spend funds exclusively on children’s goods and care products.
