Experts from the American Pantone Color Institute chose the color of 2025 – Mocha Mousse. It was announced on Thursday, December 5, on the Pantone website.
Mocha Mousse is said to be a warm, rich shade of brown that “infuses us with the rich qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort.”
“Transformed by our desire for everyday pleasure, Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse expresses a level of thoughtful pleasure. and luxury”, commented executive director Litris Aizman on the selection of the year.
Pantone says Mocha Mousse’s beauty can stand alone or serve as a versatile base, perfecting a wide range of palettes and applications—from minimalist to maximalist design—across all color-focused industries.
The Pantone Color Institute is Pantone’s research center, dedicated to experimental work with color and its impact on various industries – fashion, printing, interior design, advertising and film. Since 2000, experts at the Institute have been selecting trend-setting colors for the entire year.
We remind you that Pantone chose Peach Fuzz as the color of 2024 – Peach fuzz, which symbolizes tenderness and care.
And the color in 2023 is Viva Magenta 18-1750, described as “an unconventional red for an unconventional time.”
