Ukraine has been looking for ways to quickly lay down minefields to stop Russian tank attacks for some time.
The Military portal reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have begun using modified Humvees with increased mobility to support the rapid creation of minefields with anti-tank mines.
Ukrainian military engineer Andrey Shishuk said the Ukrainian armed forces urgently need remote-controlled mine clearance systems to quickly strengthen their defense lines against Russian attacks.
The only way to remotely deploy anti-vehicle mines is to drop them individually from the air from drones or use a RAAM system provided by artillery.
A faster version with a combination of a mine battery and a Hummer is now available in Ukraine. The Hummer can also be controlled remotely.
