The government renamed the Ministry of Reintegration into the Ministry of Nationality of Ukraine

The government renamed the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories into the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine.

Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this on December 3.

According to him, the creation of the Ministry of National Unity will help create a new quality of work and interaction with the multi-million Ukrainian community from all waves of migration.

The department will also contribute to the formation of a strategy on how to return Ukrainians to live and work in Ukraine.

The ministry will be headed by Alexey Chernyshev, previously appointed to this position by the Verkhovna Rada.

The new Deputy Prime Minister should soon present a clear plan for the development of the ministry, the team and the main KPIs, Szmigal wrote on his social networks.
