In Ukraine they want to change the officer training program and increase the training period.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky held a meeting with commanders on the training of military personnel. Particular attention was paid to officer training. The military command emphasized the importance of changing the program and increasing the duration of training. Syrsky reported this on December 2 on Telegram.
The training of tactical level officers has not gone unnoticed, the content of which requires improvement, including an increase in training time. Such proposals were made by the heads of higher military educational institutions. The commanders of combat brigades also noted the need to improve the training of officers, noted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The preliminary results of the introduction of a new basic general military training program with a training period of 1.5 months from November 1 were also discussed at the meeting. In December, these graduates will be sent to combat units.
Let us remind you that the other day, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, visited the front and worked in units and subunits in the Donetsk, Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions. The purpose of the trip was personal communication with commanders directly leading the battle and resolution of problematic issues and comprehensive assistance.
