Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine, appointed the commander of the 93rd “Kholodny Yar” brigade, Colonel Pavel Palis, as deputy head of the Office of the President.
Zelensky announced this today, November 29, in his evening address.
He understands perfectly well what is happening in the brigades, at the front. And I need just such a person to know exactly the information directly from the front on a daily basis,” Zelensky emphasized.
Palisa became the commander of the 93rd OMBR in 2023. He commanded the brigade’s actions during the defense of Bakhmut.
I need just such a person to know exactly the information on a daily basis directly from the front,” Zelensky noted.
Also in his address, Zelensky commented on the appointment of Mykhailo Drapaty as commander of the Ground Forces and Oleg Apostol as deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which became known earlier today.
The ground forces of the Armed Forces are the basis of the army. And a lot depends for Ukraine on how effectively the structure of the Ground Forces and all the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine will work. Changes are needed – changes in the management of people that will provide more results on the battlefield, he emphasized.
