Ukraine returned the bodies of 502 killed defenders

Among the returned dead defenders of Ukraine: 397 from the direction of Donetsk; 24 from the direction of Lugansk; 64 from the direction of Zaporozhye. 17 dead were brought back from the morgue in the Russian Federation.

The bodies of 502 dead Ukrainian soldiers were returned to Ukraine. This was reported on November 29 to the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

It was mentioned that among the returned dead defenders of Ukraine: 397 from the direction of Donetsk; 24 from the direction of Lugansk; 64 from the direction of Zaporozhye. 17 dead were brought back from the morgue in the Russian Federation.

“Together with specialized institutions, the identities of the dead will be established as soon as possible,” the message said.

We remind you that in early November the bodies of 563 dead defenders were returned to Ukraine. Most of the servicemen died in the Donetsk direction. It is also possible to return corpses from morgues in the Russian Federation.

Earlier in October, the bodies of 501 defenders were returned.
