The United States of America will not provide nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
Talk of a nuclear war has intensified following further threats from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Many politicians are talking about nuclear war as the conflict between the United States and its NATO allies and Russia over the war in Ukraine escalates. However, Washington is not even thinking about transferring nuclear weapons to Ukraine. This was reported by Newsweek.
We do not plan to provide Ukraine with nuclear weapons, the White House said after relevant rumors.
Thus, statements by American and European officials about the possibility of transferring to Ukraine the nuclear arsenal that the country lost after the collapse of the USSR were refuted.
Let us recall that on November 19, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nuclear deterrence.” The updated doctrine provides that the basis for a nuclear strike may be “aggression against Russia and its allies by any non-nuclear state with the support of a nuclear state,” as well as a massive air attack by non-nuclear means, including drones.
And on November 28, Putin said that the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces were selecting targets for destruction by Oreshnik on the territory of Ukraine, these could be decision-making centers in Kyiv.
