Norway has increased funding to support Ukraine.
At least up to NOK 35 billion will be allocated to help Ukraine in 2025. This is approximately 3.16 billion dollars. Of this amount, about $2 billion. will go to military support, and approximately $1.1 billion. – for humanitarian and civil support. This was reported on the Norwegian government website.
It is important for Ukraine that support continues for several years, and that there is cross-party agreement on this matter. The Ukrainian people must know that Norway’s support will continue,” said Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
In general, assistance to Ukraine through the Nansen program was extended until 2030. The Nansen Support Program is a Norwegian civil and military support program.
Let us remind you that on November 15 it became known that Norway will join the so-called Danish support format – direct financing of production in Ukraine. This will allow us to quickly produce and supply the necessary weapons for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
