Mass desertion is recorded in the ranks of the Russian army in southern Ukraine.
In particular, servicemen of the 205th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces are fleeing from positions in the Dnieper direction. And such cases are not isolated, but are becoming widespread. The ATESH resistance movement reported this on November 28 on Telegram.
The reasons for desertion are lawlessness on the part of commanders. The occupiers talk about group beatings and complain about threats of being sent on a one-way mission.
Also, the Russian military command is sent on round-the-clock duty, depriving them of rest. In addition, the promised payments to the military personnel of the aggressor country have not been received for months.
The soldiers, not wanting to put up with such an attitude, leave their positions. Some people turn to human rights organizations for help through their relatives, but so far there has been no response. Such cases are not uncommon in the occupying army, but in the 205th brigade they have become widespread,” noted ATESH.
Let us recall that the day before, the Ukrainian partisan movement in Crimea began to regularly receive letters from the occupiers who serve in Russian air defense units on the annexed peninsula. Russians complain about unbearable conditions of service and are increasingly expressing a desire to return home.
