The blackout schedules in Ukraine on November 29 will be valid throughout the day.
The reason for the temporary increase in restrictions is damage to energy facilities during a massive missile and drone attack. Energy workers are trying to repair damaged equipment as quickly as possible. The National Energy Company Ukrenergo reported this on Telegram.
Restrictions for residential consumers will be as follows:
- 00.00-06.00 – one turn off
- 6.00-14.00 – two rounds of shutdowns
- 14.00-18.00 – three stages of shutdowns
- 18.00-22.00 – two rounds of shutdowns
- 22.00-24.00 – one turn off
For industry and business, power limitation schedules will be in effect throughout the day.
Ukrenergo added that the time of application and the scope of restrictions may change during the day. They were encouraged to find out information about outage schedules on the regional energy companies’ websites. They were also asked to consume electricity sparingly.
Let us remind you that this morning the Russian Federation dealt a massive blow to Ukraine. The enemy used almost 200 missiles and drones. The Air Force announced that most air targets had been shot down. This attack was the second massive one in November and the 11th this year.
The main target of the attack was energy facilities throughout Ukraine. There were 12 hits recorded, mainly on facilities in the fuel and energy sector. Infrastructure facilities were damaged in Rivne, Lviv, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Volyn, Khmelnitsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions. Kyiv and the Odessa, Vinnitsa, Kharkov, Chernivtsi and Sumy regions were also under attack.
