President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed the law on microwave frequencies.
On Thursday, November 28, the head of state agreed to Law No. 12095 “On amending Chapter XII “Final Provisions” of the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service” on the conditions for extending military service during martial law for certain categories of military personnel. This is stated in the card of the relevant bill on the Verkhovna Rada website.
We are talking about a voluntary return to service for those who for the first time left a military unit without permission or deserted.
The law stipulates that military personnel who have committed SSA must return to duty by January 1, 2025. In this case, they will not lose their payments.
In addition, criminal liability is removed from such military personnel.
Let us remind you that on November 21, the Verkhovna Rada, by 253 votes, adopted Law No. 12095 on the voluntary return to service of those who left military units without permission or deserted for the first time. Voluntary return to the army assumes that military service and the contract continue. Also in this case, payments of cash, food, clothing, and other types of security, benefits and social guarantees are resumed.
