The US Air Force said it was unclear whether the drone sightings should be considered hostile.
Unidentified drones have been spotted at three UK air bases used by the US Air Force (USAF), The Guardian reports.
The drones were spotted between 20 and 22 November over the British bases of Lakenheath and Mildenhall in Suffolk and the Feltwell Air Force Base in Norfolk in eastern England.
The USAF said it was unclear whether the drone sightings should be considered hostile.
They declined to comment on whether protective actions had been taken against airborne assets.
“We take threats seriously and are taking strict action on defense sites. This includes counter-drone measures,” the UK MoD said.
We remind you that in Germany flights of unknown drones were recorded in an industrial zone in Schleswig-Holstein. According to the media, they may have been launched by Russian agents.
