The Russia Field study shows that 53% of respondents are in favor of moving to a negotiation process.
For the first time since the war began, more than half of Russians favor immediate negotiations with Ukraine. This was confirmed by the Russia Field poll for November.
53% of respondents are in favor of moving to the negotiation process, while the share of those who want to continue the conflict has decreased to 36%.
“The share of supporters of continuing military operations reached the lowest level, and the share of supporters of negotiations reached the highest level for the entire observation period,” the report said.
In February 2024, 49% wanted negotiations, and 40% wanted war. In the summer of 2023, supporters of war in society outnumber supporters of peace.
Sociologists recorded a record proportion of supporters of military action at the beginning of the invasion: 54% in April and May 2022, but since then this number has been steadily decreasing.

Remind us that the survey shows that in September 83% of the surveyed Ukrainians believe in the victory in the war with Russia, which is slightly higher than in June (80%).
