See who the winners were from the first days of MAMA Awards 2024, held in Los Angeles, in the United States, and Osaka, in Japan
Last Thursday night, the 21st, and this Friday morning, the 22nd, the first two days of the MAMA Awards took place, one of the main awards in the k-pop industry, responsible for rewarding the artists who stood out the most in this year.
The first day of the event, which took place in Los Angeles, in the United States, also marked the first time that the ceremony took place in a country outside Asia, with the presence of big names in South Korean pop music. The winners of the American edition were:
- Best New Male Artist: TWS;
- Best New Female Artist: ILLIT;
- Favorite Male Global Artist: RIIZE;
- Inspiring achievement: Park Jin Young;
- Best Male Group Dance Performance: TWS.
Meanwhile, the second day, held this Friday in Osaka, Japan, also brought together great K-pop artists, as well as a special appearance by a Western pop star: Bruno Marswho was present alongside Roséby BLACKPINK. Check out the winners of the second day:

- Global Sensation: Rosé (BLACKPINK) and Bruno Mars;
- Favorite Group Dance Performance: BOYNEXTDOOR;
- Favorite Global Artist – Female: IVE;
- VISA Fan Choice of the Year: Jimin (BTS).
It is worth remembering that tomorrow, the 23rd, the last day of MAMA Awards 2024 will take place, also hosted in Osaka, Japan, where, in addition to revealing the latest winners, it also promises outstanding performances from the following artists: ZEROBASEONE, aespa, SEVENTEEN, (G) I-DLE, Byeon Woo Seok, BIBI, MEOVV, INI and G-Dragon, member of BIGBANG, who returns to the awards after 9 years.
