The head of the German government said that the ballistic missile attack on the Dnieper was a “terrible escalation of the war.”
Russia’s use of an experimental ballistic missile is a “terrible escalation of war.” This is what German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said.
He also called the presence of North Korean soldiers in the combat zone “who are now being used in this war and dying for Putin’s imperial dream” as complicating the confrontation.”
According to him, it is important for Germany to work with its allies to avoid war between Russia and NATO. He assured that Germany remains a “committed supporter of Ukraine,” but will not provide Taurus long-range missiles to Kyiv.
Let’s remember that on November 21, the Russians launched a missile attack on the city of Dnieper. President Vladimir Zelensky said the enemy had deployed a new missile with characteristics of an intercontinental ballistic missile.
Afterwards, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said the strike appeared to have been carried out by the latest medium-range hypersonic missile Oreshnik. According to him, the missile was allegedly “launched on nuclear-free hypersonic equipment at the Ukrainian defense enterprise Yuzhmash.”
