An agent of the Russian special services was detained in Nikolaev by law enforcement officers.
The accomplice of the occupiers turned out to be a 43-year-old technician from a local regional heat and power company. On instructions from the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, he was preparing coordinates for a new series of enemy missile and drone strikes on the city. The Security Service of Ukraine reported this on November 22 in Telegram.
The occupiers recruited the traitor because of his pro-Russian comments in Telegram channels. The attacker received special instructions from the FSB, then began to scout out the areas of greatest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Defense Forces.
The enemy agent drove around the territory of the city and surrounding areas in his own car and secretly recorded objects where, in his opinion, there could be Ukrainian military personnel.
The detainee has already been informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
Let us remind you that the other day a 22-year-old barista was detained in Vinnitsa, who was collecting information about one of the Kyiv thermal power plants, on which the invaders planned to carry out a combined attack using missile weapons and kamikaze drones. He also tried to detect radar stations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
