The winner of the US presidential election, Donald Trump, has decided to nominate former Florida Attorney General Pamela Bondi to lead the Department of Justice after Matt Gaetz turned down the position of Attorney General. Bloomberg reported this on Thursday, July 21.

Trump added: “Pam will change the direction of the Department of Justice, return it to its true purpose – fighting crime and keeping America safe. I have known Pam for many years – she is smart, strong and a passionate supporter of America First. He will do a great job as Prosecutor General!
If confirmed, Bondi must follow through on Trump’s promises to strengthen immigration controls and border security.
