The aggressor country, Russia, may attack the building of the Verkhovna Rada in the coming days.
Ukrainian security forces warned MPs ahead of time about the missile threat. It was noted that the occupiers may soon use certain experimental ballistic weapons. People’s Deputy Taras Batenko stated this on November 21 on the air of the project “Great Lviv Speaks”.
We are informed about the threat of a missile attack on the Ukrainian parliament in the coming days. Well, we’ll see whether this happens or not. But I see that the path has raised the stakes for the Ukrainian people as much as possible,” the parliamentarian noted.
According to him, just yesterday politicians knew about the threat of a ballistic strike, but it was not about intercontinental weapons.
At the same time, people’s deputy Alexey Goncharenko said that on November 22, during a parliamentary meeting, an hour of questions was to be held for the government. The next meeting of the Verkhovna Rada is scheduled for December.
The Rada meeting will not take place tomorrow. There should have been an hour of questions for the Government, but now it will not be possible to ask the Government about their stupid decisions,” he wrote.
Let us remind you that Ukraine became the first country in the world to be attacked by an intercontinental ballistic missile. So, on November 21, the enemy struck the Dnieper with this type of weapon.
President Vladimir Zelensky said that the Russians have made Ukraine their testing ground. He noted that recent missile attacks demonstrate an escalation on the part of Russia, which poses a danger not only to Ukraine, but also to global security.
Zelensky called on the international community for a tough reaction.
