The head of the medical and social expert commission (MSEC) in the Khmelnitsky region, Tatyana Krupa, was exposed for illegal enrichment worth millions of dollars.
The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left the former head of the Khmelnitsky Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission Tatyana Krupa in custody. His bail was also reduced from 500 million hryvnias to 300 million hryvnias. Suspilne reported this on Thursday, November 21.
“Based on the results of the consideration, the panel of AP HACS judges partially satisfied the appeals of the defenders, revoked the decision of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv and issued a new one, which applied a preventive measure to the official in the form of detention with the alternative of posting bail in the amount of 300 million UAH The decision came into force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal to cassation,” the statement said.
In the case of posting bail, Tatyana Krupa is obliged to:

come when called by the investigator, prosecutor and court;

refrain from communicating with employees of the medical and social expert commission and persons who have contacted MSEC on issues related to this litigation;

report a change of residence, provide your passport and other documents for travel abroad.

Tatyana Krupa’s lawyer said that all funds were taken, and Krupa’s family did not have the opportunity to deposit them. The lawyer also said that Krupa should be released on bail.
In Krupa’s office they found 100 thousand dollars, fake medical documents, lists of draft dodgers with names and fabricated diagnoses. Almost 6 million dollars, 300 thousand euros, more than 5 million hryvnias, branded jewelry and jewelry were found in the official’s house.
On October 7, the court decided to keep Krupa in custody with the possibility of 500 million hryvnia bail.
