The Russian agent was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine.
An agent of the enemy intelligence services turned out to be a 22-year-old barista from Vinnitsa, who corrected enemy fire and committed arson. There was a traitor, whom the Russians remotely recruited in October of this year, in the territories of the Kyiv and Vinnitsa regions. The SBU press center reported this on October 20.
It turned out that the attacker was collecting information about one of the Kyiv thermal power plants, against which the invaders planned to carry out a combined attack using missile weapons and kamikaze drones. He also tried to detect radar stations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces protecting the airspace of the Kiev region, in particular, over thermal power plants.
The agent also tried to set fire to transformer substations on the railway in the Vinnytsia region. He was detained after attempting to set fire to a transformer. They confiscated his phone through which he reported on his work to his supervisor from Russia.
The detainee has already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Let us recall that on November 15, the SBU, with the assistance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, detained a “mole” of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The attacker turned out to be a lieutenant colonel – the commander of one of the units of the Special Operations Forces.
