The head of the military administration of the Khmelnitsky region, Sergei Tyurin, said that the defender “distinguished himself” during the enemy attack.

In a mass attack in Ukraine on November 17, a Ukrainian defender shot down an enemy missile from a man-portable air defense system (MANPADS). The head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration (OVA) Sergei Tyurin reported this on Facebook and posted a corresponding entry.

“Natasha was hit in the Kyiv region, and Sasha was hit in ours. The video shows the moment one of yesterday’s enemy missiles was shot over the Khmelnytsky region,” the official wrote.

The head of the OVA did not specify which MANPADS the military used to fire the missile.

Attention! rudeness

We remind you that on the morning of November 17, soldier Natalya Grabarchuk destroyed an enemy cruise missile from an Igla MANPADS.
