President Vladimir Zelensky noted the progress of building fortifications in the Donetsk region and held a meeting on the security situation in the region. The press service of the head of state reported this on Monday, November 18.
In Kramatorsk, the President held a meeting with the head of the Donetsk OVA Vadim Filashkin and the commander of the OTG Lugansk Major General Mikhail Drapaty.
Drapaty reported the situation in the main sectors of the front, the use of various types of tactical-level drones and electronic warfare equipment.
Zelensky also heard a report on the construction of fortifications and mines to strengthen the defense of the region. Filashkin noted that, in addition to military engineering units, workers from different regions of Ukraine and Ukrzaliznytsia.
