On November 18 at 15:30 Eastern time and at 22:30 Kyiv time, the UN Security Council will hold a meeting due to the fact that the duration of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine is approaching 1000 days, the representative of Ukraine at the UN reported Sergei Kislitsa on his page on the social network X .
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga will visit New York on November 18, where he will address a special high-level meeting of the UN Security Council against the backdrop of increasing Russian aggression and terrorism.
“This important proposal, promoted at the initiative of Ukraine by the UK, which currently chairs the UN Security Council, will draw the world’s attention to Russia’s continued aggression against Ukraine,” the statement said.
Sibiga also plans to hold a series of bilateral meetings in New York to strengthen support for Ukraine.
Let’s remember that, according to The New York Times, the current US President Joe Biden for the first time allowed the Ukrainian military to use long-range ATACMS missiles to attack Russian territory.
