At least ten people were killed when a Russian missile hit a high-rise building. Among the victims were children.
On Sunday night, November 17, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile attack on a residential building in Sumy. At least ten people died and 51 others were injured. It was reported to the State Emergency Service.
“Unfortunately, the attack killed 10 people, including two children, 51 people were injured, including five children,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office clarified that a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl died.
The State Emergency Service noted that more than 400 people were evacuated from the damaged house.
Indestructibility points are deployed in the area. Rescuers, police, and all other services help people cope with injuries and provide all necessary support.
It was also noted that the glazing of the windows of six ten-story buildings was damaged, and four vehicles were destroyed. A door-to-door inspection of all the damaged buildings is carried out to check every corner and find the victims.
We remind you that on Sunday morning the Russian Federation launched a massive air attack on Ukraine. In total, the enemy used about 120 missiles and 90 drones. The air defense forces destroyed more than 140 targets in the air. Rescuers extinguished the fire in Poltava, Vinnitsa, Rivne, Kyiv regions and the Carpathian region.
