The Polish Prime Minister claims that telephone diplomacy will not replace real support for Ukraine from the entire West.
“No one can stop Putin from making phone calls. Last night’s attack, one of the biggest in this war, proved that phone diplomacy cannot replace real support for Ukraine from the entire West. The next ones that week will be decisive not only for the war itself, but also for our future,” Tusk emphasized on X (Twitter).
We remind you that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin on Friday, November 15. The chancellor’s press service said that Scholz in the conversation “condemned Russia’s war against Ukraine and called on Putin to end it and withdraw troops.” “Scholz also noted Germany’s firm determination to support Ukraine.”
The conversation marked the first direct communication between Scholz and Putin in nearly two years.
The chancellor also plans to speak again with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after his talks with Putin.
