Russian occupiers killed fishing during an artillery shelling of the border area of the Sumy region.
On Sunday, November 17, at about 13.00, invaders from the territory of the Russian Federation fired artillery at the civilian infrastructure of the Znob-Novgorod community of the Shostkinsky district. As a result of the enemy attack, a 73-year-old man who was fishing on the lake was killed. The prosecutor’s office of the Sumy region reported this.
Enemy strikes also damaged a medical facility and seven private houses on the territory of the society.
Law enforcement officers began a pre-trial investigation into violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder – Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They also document the consequences of the shelling.
Let us recall that on November 17, the Russian army shelled the energy infrastructure of one of the cities in the Odessa region. The enemy hit an energy facility, killing two energy workers. A 17-year-old boy was also injured as a result of the shooting. Damage to private houses, outbuildings and cars was recorded.
