The Estonian government has backed Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur’s proposal to send Ukraine another package of military aid, including both equipment and ammunition. The press service of the country’s Ministry of Defense reported this on Saturday, November 16.
“Soon it will be 1000 days since Ukraine defended its independence from the aggressor. Ukraine continues to need help from Estonia and the free world to defend itself. Considering Ukraine’s needs, however, so that Estonia’s defense capability does not suffer,” said the head of the department.

Pevkur assured that the announced aid package will not be late and that the country will soon open an annual program to support Estonian companies on a competitive basis, which will allow Ukraine to receive assistance in the production of products Estonian defense industry. He added that it will not only support Ukraine, but also Estonia’s economy and security.
