This was reported by the Voice of America.

It is noted that Biden stressed that he expects a “smooth transition” of power in January and congratulated Trump on his victory in the election.

Donald, congratulations,” Biden said. “I look forward to a smooth transition.”

Politics are tough and in many cases it’s not a nice world out there. This world is good today and I really appreciate making this transition as smooth as possible. I really appreciate it, Joe. Thank you! – Trump replied.

Earlier this morning, Trump addressed a large group of House Republicans in Washington. Businessman Elon Musk, who is to head the new Department of Public Administration Efficiency, also arrived at the meeting.

Trump will be inaugurated as President of the United States on January 20, 2025.
