Duda’s representative said the Polish president injured his right hand “in his personal time” and not while performing his duties as head of state.
Polish President Andrzej Duda required surgery after suffering an injury that resulted in the loss of the tip of his finger. This was stated by the Secretary of State of the Office of the President of Poland Wojciech Kolarski on RMF FM.
According to Duda’s representative, he injured his right hand “in his personal time,” and not while performing his duties as head of state.
Polish President Andrzej Duda appeared in public in early October with a bandage placed on two fingers of his right hand. Most recently many Polish media have noticed that the middle finger of this hand on Duda’s hand is swollen and seems to be shorter than the others. Several publications wrote that the president may have been injured during renovations in his new apartment.
We remind you that the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk underwent surgery. Office representatives did not provide details of the deal or the illness, but said it was planned.
