A massive drone attack on a missile attack was repelled by Ukrainian air defense.
On the night of November 13, Russia attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles, guided bombs and attack drones. Not counting the KABs, the enemy used 96 air attack weapons. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
In particular, the infidels hit the Sumy region with two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, which were launched from the Kursk region.
The enemy launched two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region. The enemy attacked with two more Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, and the launch area was recorded in the Caspian Sea. In addition, 90 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones were launched from the Russian Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarskaya and Orel.
Air defense operated in the Kyiv, Poltava, Zhitomir, Sumy, Cherkassy, Zaporozhye, Chernigov and Kirovograd regions. Anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
So far, it is known that two Kh-101 cruise missiles, two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 37 drones have been shot down. Another 47 enemy drones were locally lost. And two UAVs left the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Belarus and Russia.
Let us recall that on November 13, for the first time in the last 73 days, Russia launched a combined missile and drone strike on Kyiv. The enemy probably used air-launched cruise missiles, KN-23/KN-24/Iskander-M ballistic missiles and Shahed/Geranium/Gerbera/Parody type drones. Air defense destroyed several missiles and up to 10 drones.
