The Ukrainian army has unlocked the transfer mechanism for soldiers between military units. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Telegram on Tuesday, November 12.
“The government just adopted a special resolution introducing a real and transparent mechanism for transfers for our soldiers between military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It applies to transfers specifically on the initiative of soldiers,” wrote the head of state.
According to Zelensky, the mechanism was developed in cooperation between civil society, Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We agreed on this at a civil society meeting in October. We are keeping our promises,” he assured.
The President said the translation will work through the application Army+. 72 hours will be allotted to review the report.
Zelensky clarified that the Ministry of Defense should monitor the effectiveness of the approved mechanism.
“This is an important example of fully constructive cooperation between the military leadership and the team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, representatives of public organizations,” the president said and thanked everyone who worked. for this decision.
It was previously known that the basic training of Ukrainian Armed Forces recruits will last one and a half months. It will now contain more hours of training and fire tactics.
