For three days now, Russian troops have been conducting a major counter-offensive operation in the Kursk region to dislodge Ukrainian forces. Earlier, the American newspaper The New York Times wrote that Moscow had gathered up to 50,000 soldiers from Russia and the DPRK in the Kursk region.
