The state budget law for 2025 has been prepared for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading.
The Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025, prepared for the second reading. This was announced by the permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
The budget priority for next year is security and defense. More than UAH 2.2 trillion will be allocated for these needs, which is about 26% of Ukraine’s GDP.
We remind you that on September 13, the government approved the draft state budget for the next year.
On October 31, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill on the budget of Ukraine for 2025 in the first reading.
