In Ukraine today, November 5, electricity consumption decreased compared to the previous day.
The press service of Ukrenergo reports this.
It is noted that today, as of 9:30, the level of electricity consumption was 4.5% lower than on Monday, November 4.
The reason for this change is the establishment of sunny weather in most areas and, accordingly, more efficient operation of household solar power plants than yesterday, the company notes.
Yesterday the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 5.8% higher than the previous business day, Friday, November 1. The reason for this was a significant decrease in air temperature in all regions.
During the day, electricity will be imported from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 2 thousand 150 MWh.
Ukrenergo notes that during the hours of maximum consumption – in the morning and evening – there remains a power deficit in the energy system.
Please do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time from 7.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 16.00 to 21.00 in the evening, Ukrenergo urges.
