Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump each received three votes.
The 2024 US presidential election concluded in the small town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, near the Canadian border. People have voted, and the polling stations have closed. This was reported by CNN.
The presidential candidates, Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump, each received three votes.
In Dixville Notch, voting opened and closed after midnight Eastern Time (the difference in Ukraine is seven hours, – ed.), according to a tradition dating back to 1960.
According to the 2010 census, only 12 people live in the city. During elections, this area traditionally attracts the interest of journalists as its residents are the first to publish their voting results.
In the last two presidential elections, Dixville Notch residents voted for the Democratic candidate. In 2020, all five of the town’s electors voted unanimously for Joe Biden, and in 2016, Hillary Clinton received four out of seven votes. The remaining votes were split between Donald Trump, who received two votes, and Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, who received one vote.
As you know, Trump trails Harris among female voters by 14 points. And women go to the polls more often than men.
More than 75 million US voters have already cast their ballots
