Ukrainian forces are preparing to deploy the powerful Grimm-2 ballistic missile, reports The Telegraph.
Ukraine is as close as possible to creating a missile capable of hitting Moscow. The Telegraph reported it.
Ukrainian forces are preparing to deploy the powerful Grimm-2 ballistic missile. The head of the Ukrainian delegation to NATO, Yegor Chernev, confirmed the almost complete readiness of these weapons.
“Believe me, soon there will be concrete results that will be seen not only by Ukraine, but also by the Russian Federation,” assured the delegate.
The Grom-2 is a single-stage solid-fuel missile capable of carrying a 500 kg warhead at a distance of up to 500 km.
It is superior in capabilities to the Tochka missile of the 1970s, which is still the best weapon of its type in Ukraine.
The development of Grimm-2 took more than ten years, but the project gained priority only after the conflict expanded in 2022.
In the midst of Russia’s attack on industrial facilities on the Dnieper, Ukrainian specialists completed the first samples of Grimm-2, and in August President Zelensky announced a successful test.
As you know, on October 29, The New York Times reported that the non-nuclear deterrence package announced by Zelensky in the Victory Plan provides for the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. This is what senior US officials said.
In turn, on October 30, Zelensky said that information about Tomahawk missiles is confidential – between Ukraine and the White House. In his opinion, the deluge of such information means that there is no confidentiality between partners.
Ukraine’s missile program. Good luck to the military-industrial complex
