The men tried to transfer 25 people of Asian origin who crossed the Belarusian-Latvian border illegally.
Latvian border guards, while monitoring the border areas in the Kraslava region on Thursday, October 31, noticed a fake vehicle of the State Border Service. This was reported by local media LSM.
“The car has the wrong color and a wrong license plate, which belongs to a real border guard vehicle. The stopped Renault Master minibus was probably used to transport border violators,” the report said.
Border guards detained 25 border violators and two transporters.
Upon examination of the document, it turned out that both carriers are citizens of Ukraine.
