Poland responded to the reproaches of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky regarding the MiG-29.
The Polish government has done more for Kyiv in terms of gross domestic product than any other state. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radislaw Sikorski, Polsat News reports.
According to him, the West has already provided Ukraine with assistance in the amount of $217 billion.
Among the countries that help Ukraine, if we take into account military, financial, economic, humanitarian assistance and assistance to Ukrainian refugees, in proportion to GDP, Poland has done more for Ukraine than any other country, Sikorsky noted.
The Foreign Minister added that Poland remains a front-line country, and therefore there is a threat for it as well.
Let us recall that the day before, President Vladimir Zelensky, during a meeting with the leadership of communities and districts in Transcarpathia, said that Ukraine would still like to receive MiG-29 fighters from Poland, but the Polish side is not yet providing these aircraft.
