The system of medical and social expert commissions in Ukraine is being reformed. The MSEC will be replaced by a team of medical experts. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced this on Telegram on Friday, November 1.
He noted that today the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko spoke in the Verkhovna Rada and announced the details of the MSEC reform.
Thus, a corresponding bill is being prepared to replace the system of medical and social expert commissions. The draft law is already being considered by the government, after which it will be registered in the parliament.
As part of the reform, more than 500 MSECs in Ukraine will be replaced by a group of specialized doctors. The new system will be digitized as much as possible to reduce the risk of corruption and the human factor.
We remind you that after several high-profile corruption scandals in Ukraine, they decided to liquidate MSEC. President Vladimir Zelensky signed a corresponding decree. The duties of MSEC will be performed by the respective hospitals.
