Today, 906 thousand Ukrainians have reservations from mobilization. Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko spoke about this in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
According to her, during the entire period of the full-scale war, the number of conscripts booked from mobilization never exceeded 950 thousand people, and data on more than a million booked appeared due to “doubling”, since some companies simultaneously submitted documents both in paper and electronically. form (via “Action”).
At the same time, Sviridenko emphasized that it is important to add transparency and systematization to the booking process, so the government is considering the possibility of changing booking procedures – for example, providing a priority criterion for wages.
Sviridenko denied the information about the supposedly 1.5 million booked, as reported by Ukrainian media.
At our peak, we had 950,000 “unique bookers.” When bookings appeared due to “Action”, at a certain point the statistics grew to 1.049 million people, but this was due to satisfaction, since some companies simultaneously submitted documents in paper and electronic form, Sviridenko explained.
